There is a special technique of making tea to find out all the benefits.
Mark Hyman, a physician at Functional Medicine in the United States, emphasizes the importance of a drink for a healthy and long life. That drink is drunk all over the world, and it’s not coffee, it’s tea.
According to Dr. Hyman, “Tea contains powerful ‘phenolic’ ingredients that fight cancer and protect against heart disease.” If tea is drunk with sugar then it is all over. Drinking tea with or without sugar will directly benefit the ‘polyphenol’ component and increase life expectancy. ”
Hyman added, in a report published on Well&good.com, however, that there is a special technique for making tea to get the most out of it. And that special technique is to soak for a long time in cold water.
Nicole Dean, founder of the luxury tea brand Colo in the United States, said: “The ideal way to extract flavors and nutrients from tea leaves is to make tea with cold water.”
Tea leaves should be soaked in cold water and kept in the fridge for 24 hours. Later it should be sifted through a sieve. Tea bags can also be used to keep tea leaves from getting wet. That’s all there is to it. There is no need to boil water.
Dean added, “Tea in hot water becomes bitter when boiled for a long time, but cold water does not harm the taste of tea. Rather, it brings out the taste of the tea nicely without any harm. And when you make tea in this way, the anti-oxidants in it slowly mix with the water. ”
Studies have also shown that black, green and oolong teas, soaked in cold water, have higher levels of anti-oxidants.
